Another Department Store Selling Trans Clothes for Babies

Kohl’s has joined Target and Bud Light in releasing LGBTQIA+ themed apparel for adults, children, and babies in honor of Pride Month. A display in Kohl’s was photographed and shared on Twitter by End Wokeness, revealing trans-themed baby clothing featuring a dog with a trans flag and children waving LGBTQ flags.

The department store’s onesies have been criticized by some shoppers for featuring the LGBTQ+ pride flag. These criticisms suggest that the company is trying to appeal to a specific political ideology. Kohl’s has experienced a decline in its stock shares in 2022, and now faces a similar backlash to other companies.

One Twitter account summed up the sentiment by stating, “Looks like another company needing Bud-lighting!”

Kohl’s faced backlash for selling LGBTQ+ onesies during Pride Month, both online and in stores. The criticism gained momentum on social media, with users expressing disappointment. The situation escalated further when the ‘End Wokeness’ Twitter account condemned the onesies, claiming that Kohl’s did not learn from the backlash faced by other companies like Bud Light and Target.

The controversy became more intense after the YouTuber named ‘Twisted Luck Truth’ posted a video criticizing the merchandise sold in Kohl’s brick-and-mortar stores. It’s worth noting that the video was removed from TikTok surprisingly.

Among the featured items was a t-shirt displaying the message “BELONG BELIEVE BE PROUD” accompanied by a silhouette of Mickey Mouse. Conservative influencer Benny Johnson questioned why Kohl’s would sell “Pride Merch” for three-month-old babies.

Conversely, a content creator with liberal views voiced their support for Kohl’s and recommended that the company maintain its pride collection.

“Kohl’s please stand your ground and keep your pride collection. I’m sick of gun hungry bigots acting like not being straight is killing kids, when we all know what happens EVERY F***ING DAY IN THIS COUNTRY.”

There is currently a controversy going on related to boycotts of several brands that expressed support for the LGBTQ+ community. Some people consider this controversy to be linked to Woke ideology. One example of this is Bud Light, which experienced a loss in market value of nearly $16 billion due to criticism of an advertising campaign featuring transgender figure Dylan Mulvaney.

Target faced similar boycotts like other companies and removed a few of its controversial Pride collection items. However, it emphasized that it still supports LGBTQ+ causes. Due to an increasing backlash against its Pride-themed clothing line for children, the company’s market valuation has decreased by $10 billion.
