5 Woke Companies to Avoid During Holiday Shopping

As the holiday season approaches, consumers are being urged to be mindful of where they spend their hard-earned money. A consumer watchdog group has recently released a list of five ‘woke’ companies that might be worth avoiding during your holiday shopping due to their controversial policies and practices. These companies include Best Buy, Activision, Target, Nordstrom, and Home Depot.

Activision, a prominent video game company, has made a commitment to increase the number of women and “non-binary” employees by 50 percent in the next five years. To achieve this, they’ve created scholarships exclusively for women, non-binary, and “gender fluid” individuals. Their career advancement network groups are limited to specific demographics, excluding those who are white, straight, or male. This has raised concerns about equality and fair opportunities for all employees.

Best Buy is one of the companies that’s been put on the naughty list by the consumer watchdog group. It turns out they’ve been pushing some policies that don’t sit well with a lot of us. Best Buy has jumped on the ‘woke’ bandwagon, supporting radical ideologies that clash with our traditional values. They’ve even gone so far as to partner with organizations that want to defund the police. Now, we all know that without our brave law enforcement officers, we wouldn’t have the peace and security we enjoy every day. So, if you believe in upholding law and order and respecting those who protect us, you might want to cross Best Buy off your shopping list this year.

Then there’s Target. A recent video showed the retailer selling LGBT-themed clothing and books in the children’s section. Clothing tags contained messages like “Thoughtfully fit on multiple body types and gender expressions” and “pride toddler legging.” They even sold books with titles such as “Glad You Came Out!” and “I’m So Happy That You’re Queer!” Some items in Target’s Pride collection were designed by a UK-based designer who identifies as a transgender gay man and is a professed Satanist.

Nordstrom has taken a leap into the realm of ‘wokeness’ by endorsing radical ideologies that clash with traditional values held by many Americans. To give you an idea, they’ve partnered with organizations that promote defunding the police and have even allowed the use of their stores for BLM protests.

Home Depot has teamed up with HRC for the Welcoming Schools Program, which Consumers’ Research says is “specifically geared towards indoctrinating schools on how to promote LGBT ideology among vulnerable students under the guise of ‘inclusivity.’”

These companies’ approach to promoting diversity and inclusion has sparked backlash. Critics argue that their actions are not promoting equality, but rather tipping the scale in favor of certain groups and discriminating against others. The irony of this ‘woke ideology’ is pointed out – they aim to overcome all racism and discrimination by engaging in what some see as blatant racism and discrimination.

When companies resort to racial preferences or quotas as a remedy for past bigotry, they risk opening a Pandora’s box of liability. States like New Jersey, New York, and California have stringent laws against discrimination, with provisions for uncapped punitive damages. Corporate directors may be opening themselves up to significant legal and financial risks by choosing this path.

The message is clear: consumers have power. By choosing where to spend their money, they can influence companies’ policies and practices. It’s a call to action for those who value traditional beliefs and fair treatment for all, regardless of race, gender, or sexual orientation.

So as you prepare for your holiday shopping, consider these factors. Your purchases could be more than just gifts; they could be a statement about the kind of world you want to live in.
