Well, it seems like even CNN can’t deny the writing on the wall. Their first electoral map projection for 2024 shows none other than Donald J. Trump in a pretty decent position. CNN, the network that has made no secret of its disdain for Trump, released a map showing the states they believe are solidly Democrat, leaning Democrat, toss-ups, leaning Republican, and solidly Republican. And guess what? It’s not as blue as they’d probably like it to be.
In fact, the map shows that several key states are up for grabs. Florida, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina are all labeled as “toss-up” states. Even Minnesota, a state that hasn’t voted for a Republican since 1972, is considered a toss-up. Now, doesn’t that just warm your conservative heart?
But let’s not get too carried away. Remember, this is CNN we’re talking about. The same network that spent four years trying to convince us that Trump was a Russian puppet. The same network that downplayed the Hunter Biden laptop story. The same network that told us Trump had no chance of winning in 2016. Yeah, that CNN.
So, while it’s fun to see them squirm a little, let’s not put too much stock in their predictions. After all, they’ve been wrong before. And who’s to say they won’t be wrong again?
But here’s the thing: whether CNN wants to admit it or not, Trump still holds a lot of sway in this country. His rallies draw crowds that any politician would kill for. His endorsement is sought after by candidates across the nation. And his message of America First still resonates with millions of voters. So, will Trump win in 2024? Probably, but it’s too early to tell.
