Pentagon Warns of Coming Invasion to America

Well, buckle up, folks, because it seems like we’re in for a bumpy ride. According to top Pentagon officials, we might just have an ‘incoming Haitian invasion’ on our hands. Now, isn’t that a spicy piece of news?

In a recent congressional hearing, Defense Department witnesses laid down the lowdown about the deteriorating situation in Haiti. The country is practically on its knees, with rival gangs ruling the roost and food shortages so bad that instances of cannibalism have been reported. And all this chaos is happening just 1,300 kilometers from our southeastern port.

Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz, a man who doesn’t mince his words, asked the million-dollar question. What are we doing to prepare for the potential mass migration from Haiti? He’s deeply concerned, and frankly, so should we all be. With the current administration’s track record on the southern border, it’s a legitimate worry.

Rebecca Zimmerman, a Defense Department official, tried to reassure us. Apparently, they’re keeping track of the situation and are ‘prepared.’ But folks, we’ve all heard that song before, haven’t we?

Zimmerman admitted that although there’s no significant maritime migration yet, they’re alert to the possibility. Well, alertness is good and all, but is it enough? The ‘driving conditions’ in Haiti could push more people to make the dangerous journey to the U.S., she said. And that’s putting it mildly.

The debate then turned to resources. Are we equipped to manage illegal crossings? Gaetz doesn’t seem to think so. He’s had chats with Coast Guard officials who reportedly would appreciate more naval vessels. But are those coming? Your guess is as good as mine.

This past Monday, to add fuel to the fire, Haitian Prime Minister Ariel Henry, who had already fled the country, resigned his post. This leaves the government scrambling to replace its top politician while dealing with street gangs vying for control. And what’s our administration doing? Evacuating a small number of Americans present during the country’s collapse and leaving Kenya to send military aid to try to quell the unrest.

It seems we’re in for some interesting times ahead. Let’s just hope our leaders are as ‘prepared’ as they claim to be. Because let’s face it, their track record isn’t exactly stellar.
