In a stunning revelation that confirms years of conservative warnings, CIA Director John Ratcliffe announced Wednesday that a newly declassified CIA report exposes former FBI Director James Comey, CIA Director John Brennan, and DNI James Clapper for deliberately corrupting the Trump-Russia investigation ahead of President Trump’s 2016 inauguration.
According to the report, the three top Obama-era officials worked together to manipulate intelligence, fast-track a bogus assessment, and knowingly rely on the discredited Steele Dossier — all in a desperate attempt to derail Trump before he even took office.
“They knew it was garbage, but they ran with it anyway to screw Trump,” one intelligence source told The New York Post.
The CIA’s internal document, quietly released on June 26, 2025, paints a damning picture. Dubbed the Tradecraft Review 2016 ICA on Election Interference, the report details “multiple procedural anomalies” that undermined the entire Trump-Russia narrative.
Among the key findings:
- The intelligence assessment was rushed under an “unprecedentedly compressed timeline,” raising serious concerns about political motives.
- Brennan, Comey, and Clapper personally steered the process with “highly unusual scope and intensity,” effectively stifling dissent and sidelining career analysts.
- Key intelligence agencies were deliberately excluded to ensure the final report aligned with a pre-determined anti-Trump conclusion.
- Leaks to the media shaped a false public narrative of Trump-Russia collusion, pressuring analysts to conform.
One of the most explosive points is confirmation that Brennan, Comey, and Clapper relied heavily on the infamous Steele Dossier, even though they knew at the time it was unverifiable opposition research funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign.
For three years, Democrats and deep state operatives used that same debunked dossier as the foundation for impeachment efforts, endless investigations, and a coordinated attempt to remove Trump from office.
“This confirms what we’ve been saying for years — the Trump-Russia hoax was an inside job designed to overthrow a duly elected president,” Ratcliffe declared in a post on X.
Investigative journalist Paul Sperry previously revealed that Ratcliffe was raising alarms about Brennan’s false Trump-Russia assessment as early as February.
