Rap Legend Flees NYC After Mamdani Win “RIP New York”

Well, it’s official: 50 Cent just did what thousands of New Yorkers are probably thinking but don’t have the guts (or the bankroll) to do. He packed up and got the heck out of Dodge—er, New York—after Zohran Mamdani, a self-proclaimed Democratic socialist, was elected mayor of the Big Apple. And honestly, can you blame him?

After Tuesday night’s election disaster, 50 Cent, aka Curtis Jackson, went nuclear on social media, blasting Mamdani’s agenda and throwing up the biggest red flag since Biden tried to redefine “recession.” In one post, the rapper declared, “NYC is over.” He even shared a mock tombstone that read, “RIP NYC – 2025.” Not exactly subtle.

The message from 50 was loud and clear: “Pack it up, let’s go!”

And he’s not just talk. He’s putting his money where his mouth is—literally. The Queens native has been investing big in Shreveport, Louisiana, snapping up 20 properties and reportedly pouring $50 million into the once-thriving oil town. Why? Because unlike New York, Shreveport doesn’t have a mayor promising to jack up taxes and “reimagine” public safety by defunding the police. You know, the usual socialist insanity.

Back in June, 50 even offered Mamdani $258,750 and a one-way first-class ticket to get out of New York. No joke. “Where did he come from? Whose friend is this?” he posted. Good question, actually. Mamdani, a former rapper turned tax-hiking radical, now runs a city that’s been hemorrhaging residents for years—and his big plan is to… push more people out?

Genius stuff.

50 isn’t just ranting. He’s sounding the alarm. His warning? Mamdani’s tax-and-spend scheme is going to drive out big money, businesses, and anyone with the means to flee. And if police budgets get gutted on top of that? His words, not mine: “They are gonna purge.”

And look, he might be a rapper, but 50 Cent’s got more common sense than half the clowns running New York. He knows what’s coming. The only question now is, how many more will follow him to places like Texas, Tennessee, or Louisiana?

Because make no mistake, the exodus is real. It’s not just 50. It’s small business owners, working-class families, and retirees who are sick of the chaos and done with being taxed to death by woke ideologues playing SimCity with people’s lives.

Just pray they leave their blue-state voting habits behind.
