BREAKING: Bill Clinton Clears Trump’s Name in Testimony Under Oath

Former President Bill Clinton testified before the House Oversight Committee this week about his connections to Jeffrey Epstein, and the hearing delivered at least one headline nobody saw coming.

According to House Oversight Chairman James Comer, Clinton testified that, to his knowledge, President Trump was not involved with Epstein’s criminal conduct. Comer told reporters, “Trump has never said anything to me to make me think he was involved with Epstein.”

That statement alone reshapes part of the public narrative that has swirled around this scandal for years.

The hearing also revisited Clinton’s own well documented ties to Epstein. Comer said Clinton flew on Epstein’s private jet, infamously dubbed the “Lolita Express,” 27 times. He also stated that Epstein visited the Clinton White House 17 times. Those numbers have fueled speculation and criticism for years, especially given the disturbing details of Epstein’s trafficking operation.

Photographs have circulated showing Clinton with Epstein and individuals later identified as alleged victims. The former president addressed that directly in his opening statement.

“First, I had no idea of the crimes Epstein was committing,” Clinton said. “No matter how many photos you show me, I have two things that at the end of the day matter more than your interpretation of those 20 year old photos. I know what I saw, and more importantly, what I didn’t see.”

He continued, “I know what I did, and more importantly, what I didn’t do. I saw nothing, and I did nothing wrong.”

Clinton also invoked his personal background. “As someone who grew up in a home with domestic abuse, not only would I not have flown on his plane if I had any inkling of what he was doing, I would have turned him in myself and led the call for justice for his crimes, not sweetheart deals.”

He even defended former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, saying, “You made Hillary come in. She had nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein. Nothing. She has no memory of even meeting him.”

President Trump weighed in earlier, saying, “I don’t like seeing him deposed, but they certainly went after me a lot more than that.”

The broader picture remains complicated. Epstein’s network of wealthy and powerful associates has long been the subject of scrutiny, and public trust in institutions has suffered as a result. Clinton’s testimony denying wrongdoing will not satisfy everyone. His acknowledgment of extensive travel with Epstein keeps questions alive.

At the same time, his statement regarding President Trump may complicate efforts to draw partisan lines around the scandal.

Ultimately, the Oversight Committee’s work continues. For many Americans, the goal is simple. Full transparency, real accountability, and no special treatment for anyone, regardless of party or status.
