Keegan Allen walking through a parking lot after being injured in a West Hollywood armed robbery

Hollywood Actor Left Bloodied in Terrifying Armed Robbery, Fans Demand Answers!

Actor Keegan Allen was left bloodied and dazed after two masked men allegedly ambushed him outside an upscale grocery store in West Hollywood, turning a routine grocery run into a violent armed robbery over a watch. A grocery trip should not come with a crime-scene sequel, but here we are. According to reports, one suspect carried a silver handgun while the other displayed a knife.

The victim, 37-year-old Allen, is best known for playing Toby Cavanaugh on Pretty Little Liars. He said he was loading groceries into his vehicle outside Laurel Supply on Thursday night when the two men approached. The confrontation moved quickly. Surveillance footage shared after the attack appears to show Allen surrendering his watch before one assailant struck him repeatedly in the head with the handgun. The men then ran toward a waiting vehicle.

Moments later, Allen recorded himself walking through the parking lot with blood running from a wound near his forehead. He looked stunned and out of breath while trying to explain what had happened. He later told followers that the attackers threatened to kill him over the watch. His caption summed up the grim exchange in a short, brutal line: “My life for a watch.”

ABC News reported that Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 8400 block of Santa Monica Boulevard at about 9:05 p.m. Allen told deputies that one suspect pointed a gun while the second brandished a knife and demanded his watch and bracelet. The sheriff’s account said the gunman then struck him in the face. The suspects fled in an unknown vehicle, leaving Allen with a forehead laceration.

Los Angeles County Fire personnel evaluated Allen at the scene, and he was not taken away by ambulance. Allen later indicated in social-media comments that he sought hospital care and believed he had suffered a concussion. He also said West Hollywood was no longer safe and challenged Gov. Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass over whether the area’s cameras would help identify the attackers.

That question matters because Allen’s post included what appeared to be video of the robbery, while the area also has license-plate readers and live cameras. The Los Angeles Times reviewed grainy parking-lot footage and reported that Allen held out his arms, removed his watch, and was apparently pistol-whipped twice before the masked men fled. The paper noted that investigators’ statement referred only to a male adult, although the reported time, location, weapons, and sequence matched Allen’s account. Investigators asked anyone with information about the suspects or getaway vehicle to contact the West Hollywood station.

No arrests had been announced as the search continued. The City of West Hollywood called the robbery deeply upsetting, said it was coordinating with the sheriff’s department, and announced additional patrols in commercial areas and gathering places. FOX 11 Los Angeles reported that Allen was attacked while loading groceries outside the luxury market. Allen became a television fixture on Pretty Little Liars from 2010 to 2017 and later played Liam Walker on Walker.
