Adam Schiff Gets ROASTED Online After Old Video Re-Surfaces

Well, well, well—look who’s back at it again with the hypocrisy. Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA), the king of selective outrage, is now blaming Republicans for a possible government shutdown, despite his own passionate condemnation of shutdowns just a couple of years ago under Biden. It’s almost like Democrats don’t actually have principles—just political convenience.

A resurfaced video from 2023 is making the rounds on social media, showing Schiff warning about the catastrophic consequences of a government shutdown. Back then, when Biden was in charge and Democrats controlled the Senate, Schiff acted like shutting down the government was practically the apocalypse. He lamented how federal workers, TSA agents, and military personnel would suffer without paychecks, dramatically clutching his pearls over how irresponsible it would be to let funding lapse.

“Had the government shut down, hundreds of thousands of people would have not gotten their paychecks. Federal employees would have been furloughed, sent home. Others deemed essential, like TSA workers, they would have been forced to go to work and not paid,” Schiff bemoaned in 2023.

But fast forward to today, with President Trump back in the White House, and Schiff has suddenly discovered a brand-new take. Now, he’s telling TikTok viewers (because apparently, that’s his preferred method of governance) that a potential shutdown is entirely the fault of Trump and the Republican-controlled Congress. “So is the government shutting down? Well, that depends on Donald Trump and the Republicans. They control the White House. They control the House. They control the Senate. It’s really up to them.”

Ah, yes. Because suddenly, the complexities of bipartisan negotiations and budget disputes don’t matter anymore. Now it’s just Trump’s fault. Convenient, isn’t it? Schiff even went on to whine about how Republicans had passed a budget resolution that adjusted funding levels and stripped Congress of the ability to overturn Trump’s tariffs—because heaven forbid we actually enforce strong trade policies.

Of course, the internet wasted no time in roasting Schiff over his blatant hypocrisy. One user sarcastically quipped, “If you look in a dictionary for the meaning of ‘hypocrisy’ you’ll see the face of Adam Schiff.” Another joked, “Can’t believe a word any DemocRAT says, especially Adam ‘Pencil Neck’ Schiff, a proven and serial liar.”

At the end of the day, a government shutdown happens when Congress fails to pass funding bills. Schiff knows this. But instead of taking responsibility like he demanded of Republicans in 2023, he’s now doing what Democrats do best—blaming Trump. The difference this time? Americans aren’t buying it.
