Breaking: Kash Patel Drops Bombshell on Female Agent’s ‘Honeypot’ Role in Comey’s Anti-Trump Operation!

FBI Director Kash Patel issued a strong statement on Friday evening after a female FBI agent was falsely accused of being one of the two “honeypots” allegedly used in a secret 2016 operation under former FBI Director James Comey. Patel, who recently took over leadership of the Bureau, made it clear that he will hold the FBI accountable while also defending those wrongly targeted by accusations.

The controversy began earlier this week when Patel launched an investigation into Comey’s reported “honeypot” operation, a covert effort that allegedly involved two female undercover agents infiltrating then-candidate Donald Trump’s campaign. According to The Washington Times, the operation was separate from Crossfire Hurricane, the FBI’s official investigation into Trump that was later debunked as being based on false claims of Russian collusion.

A whistleblower revealed last October that Comey directed two female agents to embed themselves within Trump’s 2016 campaign, traveling with his team as part of what was described as an “off-the-books” operation. One of these agents was later transferred to the CIA, reportedly to prevent her from becoming a witness. The other was promoted to a high-ranking position at the FBI.

This week, speculation ran wild as media outlets and online commentators attempted to identify the agents involved. One female FBI agent was falsely accused of being part of Comey’s operation, prompting Patel to set the record straight.

Patel’s statement was firm: “The American people will get an FBI that is transparent, accountable, and committed to justice. Just like when I exposed grotesque violations and fraud leading the House Intelligence Committee’s investigation into Crossfire Hurricane calling out corrupt actors; I will equally defend those attacked falsely, especially as your new FBI Director.”

He directly addressed the false accusation against the agent, stating, “A female agent was falsely referenced in the media this week as part of an alleged whistleblower disclosure—she was NOT a honeypot.” Patel confirmed that he had personally reviewed the case and found no wrongdoing on her part.

Furthermore, Patel referenced Special Counsel John Durham’s past investigation, which also cleared the agent. “She did the limited job assigned to her. These actions were also reviewed by Special Counsel John Durham and he found no evidence of any wrongdoing by her. This agent has dedicated her life to public service, and I will have her back for it.”

Patel made it clear that his FBI will not tolerate corruption, but also will not engage in baseless accusations. He closed with a strong message to his agency: “Stay the course and abide by our high standards, and I will always have your back. Deviate in any way, and you will not be a part of this FBI. She is here to stay.”

With Patel at the helm, it appears the FBI is heading toward a new era—one of accountability, but also fairness.
