Every time I turn around there’s another story about the disastrous consequences of Biden’s border policies. This time, it’s a heartbreaking tale out of Georgia, where a young nursing student was allegedly murdered by an illegal alien. And Governor Brian Kemp isn’t pulling any punches when it comes to laying the blame at Biden’s feet.
In a scathing letter, Kemp lashed out at Biden over the murder of 22-year-old University of Georgia student Laken Riley. The accused is Jose Antonio Ibarra, a 26-year-old illegal alien from Venezuela who snuck into the U.S. through Texas back in 2022. You know, during that big ol’ illegal immigration crisis that Biden somehow still doesn’t think is a problem.
Kemp didn’t mince words when he said: “As I have stated many times in the past, your actions and those of your administration have resulted in every state in the country experiencing the disastrous impacts of an unsecured U.S. southern border.”
And let’s not forget the numbers here. Since Biden took office, more than nine million illegal immigrants have crossed the border. And that’s just the ones we know about. Who knows how many slipped through unnoticed? Heck, even people on the terror watchlist have been encountered trying to cross the border this year.
It turns out Ibarra’s brother, Diego, has also been arrested on charges of possessing a fraudulent U.S. permanent resident card. Despite multiple arrests on charges ranging from DUI to shoplifting, Diego has been released back into the community while his asylum claims are being processed. Talk about a slap in the face to law-abiding citizens!
Kemp is rightly outraged at Biden’s failure to provide governors with the resources they need to deal with illegal aliens being dumped into their states. He said, “The American people deserve to know who is illegally entering our country due to your administration’s failures, and what risks and challenges every state must now face.”
And he’s right. We do deserve to know. But somehow, I doubt we’ll get straight answers from Biden anytime soon. In the meantime, we’re left to deal with the tragic consequences of his failed policies.
So there you have it, folks. Another day, another horrific crime that could have been prevented if only we had a president who cared more about protecting American citizens than pandering to the far-left open borders crowd.
