CIA Manipulated Evidence to Hide Truth of Russian Collusion

A recent report has brought to light that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) allegedly manipulated intelligence information about the 2016 U.S. Presidential election. According to these findings, it appears that the CIA presented evidence to suggest Russia favored Donald Trump as the next president, despite having more credible information indicating that Russia wanted Hillary Clinton to win.

John Brennan, Obama’s CIA director, was reportedly at the helm of this intelligence cooking operation. He allegedly discarded evidence that showed the Russians preferred Clinton for her predictability and instead highlighted questionable evidence claiming Russia favored Trump. “They cooked the intelligence,” a source close to a House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) investigation told independent journalists Matt Taibbi, Michael Shellenberger, and Alex Gutentag.

So, let’s get this straight. In January 2017, the U.S. government claimed that Russia favored Trump as president. But now, sources reveal that the CIA altered the intelligence to hide that Vladimir Putin wanted Hillary Clinton, not Donald Trump, as president.

According to these sources, the evidence pointed the other way, showing Russia wanted Clinton to win because “it was a relationship they were comfortable with.” The CIA supposedly had evidence showing Russia viewed Trump as “unreliable,” “mercurial,” and “not steady,” while viewing Clinton as “manageable and reflecting continuity.”

The HPSCI delved further into the sourcing of these claims and found contradictory information. A source said, “When we dug further to look at the data available to them that they didn’t use, and it overwhelmingly contradicted their conclusions that Russia supported Trump.”

Michael Shellenberger revealed to Fox News host Jesse Watters that there was a 50-page report exposing the operation that the CIA “is currently hiding at its headquarters.” According to him, the controversy highlights two major intelligence scandals.

Now, I have to ask – are we living in an episode of ‘Homeland’? It seems like the CIA might have been more interested in cooking up a political drama than focusing on real intelligence. And if these allegations are true, it’s a slap in the face to the American public, who deserve transparency and honesty from their institutions.

While we laugh at the absurdity of this spy-novel-gone-wrong scenario, let’s not forget the implications. This is a serious matter that could undermine our trust in these institutions. Let’s hope for some much-needed clarity and accountability soon.
