After rumors spread online suggesting that Kamala Harris wore an earpiece during her debate with Donald Trump, a wireless audio earring company, Icebach Sound, stepped in to respond. Some social media users shared side-by-side images comparing Nova audio earrings with a screenshot of Harris’s earrings, sparking speculation that she might have used an earpiece during the debate.
However, others pointed out that Harris was actually wearing a pair of Tiffany pearl earrings during the debate.
The Germany-based company, which makes the Nova audio earrings, responded to a request for comment from Just The News. The company stated, “The resemblance is striking,” acknowledging the similarity between their product and what Harris was wearing. However, they clarified they were unsure if Harris was actually using their product.
Malte Iversen, managing director of Icebach Sound, told Just The News, “We do not know whether Mrs. Harris wore one of our products. The resemblance is striking and while our product was not specifically developed for use at presidential debates, it is nonetheless suited for it.”
Iversen also joked about developing a male version of the audio earrings for Trump’s campaign, humorously noting, “The choice of color is a bit challenging though as orange does not go well with a lot of colors.” He added that their company is currently out of stock and dealing with a lawsuit against a Chinese tech company for patent infringement, but they hope to ramp up production soon.
Despite the rumors, it seems more likely that Harris was simply wearing her classic Tiffany pearls, and the idea of her using a hidden earpiece remains just speculation.
