Dem Rep Explodes in Rage After Being Confronted Over Storming ICE Facility

Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ) is in full damage-control mode after footage emerged of a group of Democrat lawmakers storming the Delaney Hall Detention Center in Newark last week — and one of them, Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-NJ), was caught on video physically assaulting federal officers.

But according to Coleman? Nothing to see here. In an astonishing denial of reality, she told reporters Thursday that McIver “didn’t touch them,” before backtracking a moment later to admit, “She may have, like, pushed away to get them off of her, but she didn’t body slam anybody.” Right — except she did, and it’s all on video.

The footage clearly shows McIver shoving and hitting federal agents while screaming profanities. But in true leftist fashion, Coleman dismissed the entire situation as “a bunch of crap” and insisted that McIver was only “defending herself.” Because apparently, if you’re a Democrat in Congress, storming a federal facility and assaulting law enforcement doesn’t count as “lawlessness” — it’s “self-defense.”

The Department of Justice is currently investigating the incident, and there’s growing bipartisan support for a House resolution to censure the lawmakers involved. Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, who was also present and allegedly instigating the confrontation, was arrested on Friday for his role.

Still, that hasn’t stopped Coleman from doubling down on the gaslighting. When asked why they bypassed security protocols and incited a chaotic scene at a federal detention center, Coleman didn’t offer a legitimate explanation — instead, she launched into a profanity-laced tirade.

“Bullsh*t!” she snapped. “You’re living in an un-American society with a unitarian government that abuses power on all levels and treats Congress members as if we are the enemy… The enemy is the enemy of the people, and that’s the white supremacists that you’re talking about.”

Translation: don’t blame us for breaking the law — blame the real enemy, which according to Coleman, is white people in general. That’s the go-to card in the Democrats’ deck these days: race-baiting nonsense when accountability comes knocking.

Earlier this week, during a House hearing with HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Coleman again went off the rails, shouting about “racist attacks” from the Trump administration, refusing to let RFK Jr. speak, and using her entire time to rant incoherently. RFK handled it like a pro, staying calm and letting her meltdown speak for itself.

Chaos, denial, and race-baiting — the new Democrat playbook, live and unfiltered.
