According to Just the News, Special Counsel John Durham has released his final report which states that the FBI had no verified intelligence to support the opening of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation into Trump in 2016. The investigation, which was opened by Peter Strzok in July of 2016, was based on suspicions of Russian infiltration into Trump’s campaign. However, these suspicions were not supported by any evidence.
The message suggests that the investigation on CI was initiated by false claims created by Hillary Clinton and her fabricated Russia dossier. Based on John Durham’s report, it highlights how Hillary Clinton aimed to connect Trump’s campaign with Russia and informed John Brennan about it. Later on, Brennan shared this plan with Barack Obama and Joe Biden in August 2016, as per the report.
“In late July 2016, US intelligence agencies obtained insight into Russian intelligence analysis alleging that US Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton had approved a campaign plan to stir up a scandal against US Presidential candidate Donald Trump by tying him to Putin and the Russians’ hacking of the Democratic National Committee. The IC does not know the accuracy of this allegation of the extent to which the Russian intelligence analysis may reflect exaggeration or fabrication,” the Durham report stated.
“According to his handwritten notes, CIA Director Brennan subsequently briefed President Obama and other senior national security officials on the intelligence, including the “alleged approval by Hillary Clinton on July 26, 2016 of a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisors to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming inference by Russian security services,” the report said.
“On August 3, 2016, within days of receiving the Clinton Plan intelligence, Director Brennan met with the President, Vice President and other senior Administration officials, including but not limited to the Attorney General (who participated remotely) and the FBI Director, in the White House Situation Room to discuss Russian election interference efforts. According to Brennan’s handwritten notes and his recollections from the meeting, he briefed on relevant intelligence known to date on Russian election interference, including the Clinton Plan intelligence. Specifically, Director Brennan’s declassified handwritten notes reflect that he briefed the meeting’s participants regarding the “alleged approval by Hillary Clinton on 26 July of a proposal from one of her [campaign] advisors to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security services.” the report said.
Before Trump’s 2017 inauguration, there was a secret meeting in the Oval Office attended by the usual suspects, including Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Sally Yates, James Comey, Susan Rice, John Brennan, and James Clapper. They discussed the fake Russia dossier and General Flynn’s phone calls with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak.
