Liberals MELT DOWN After Supreme Court Rules Unanimously with Trump: ‘Betrayed Democracy!’

It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood, folks. The U.S. Supreme Court has just delivered a unanimous ruling ensuring former President Donald Trump’s right to appear on the 2024 ballot, and liberals are having a collective meltdown. It’s like Christmas came early this year!

The Supreme Court’s decision invalidated all efforts by the left to keep Trump off the ballots in 35 states. And boy, are they upset. Colorado’s Democratic Secretary of State, Jena Griswold, kicked off the liberal tantrum, expressing her disappointment in the Supreme Court’s decision and insisting that Colorado should be able to bar “oath-breaking insurrections” from their ballot.

But hold your horses, Jena. The Supreme Court just made it clear that no state has the power to deny a federal candidate from appearing on the national ballot. And guess what? Even the Democrats on the Supreme Court agreed with this ruling. Talk about a reality check.

Over at MSNBC, contributor Lisa Rubin tried to spin the decision, suggesting other avenues could still keep Trump off the ballot. She even hinted at the possibility of Trump being found guilty in one of his ongoing cases. Oh, Lisa, always the optimist.

And let’s not forget about Keith Olbermann, the self-appointed legal scholar and failed MSNBC contributor, who expressed his outrage on Twitter, declaring that the Supreme Court has “betrayed democracy.” His tweet was met with swift and hilarious responses, with one user asking, “Have you tried crying more?”

The Supreme Court based its decision on an 1869 ruling, which stated that an act of Congress would likely be required to determine whether an “insurrectionist” can be prevented from holding federal office under Section III of the 14th Amendment. This ruling effectively tossed out previous and ongoing attempts across 35 states to deny Trump the right to appear on the ballot.

In a statement on Truth Social, Trump celebrated the decision, writing “Big win for America!” to his 6.6 million followers. And indeed, it is a big win. Not just for Trump, but for the democratic process.

So, here’s to the Supreme Court for upholding the Constitution and reminding us all that no state, not even Colorado, can deny a federal candidate from appearing on the national ballot. And to all the liberals out there having a meltdown, might I suggest a nice cup of chamomile tea? It’s very soothing.
