But Wallace couldn’t let that stand.
She started off pretending to be a decent human being: “I let myself feel joy about DJ,” she said. But that didn’t last long. Because instead of celebrating this kid’s courage, she immediately pivoted to her usual deranged talking points. Wallace warned that if DJ survives his illness and actually goes into law enforcement, he might one day have to fight off “an angry MAGA mob” trying to “overthrow the government.” She then went even lower, bringing up Capitol police s**cides and suggesting DJ might do the same one day.
What kind of person does this? Who looks at a 13-year-old battling brain cancer and thinks, Hmm, you know what would really add to this moment? A rant about January 6th and Trump pardoning insurrectionists! It’s beyond repulsive—it’s sick.
Charlie Kirk called it the “most repulsive comment” he’s heard in a long time. Libs of TikTok said it was “sickening.” And they’re right. As he recognized Payton McNabb—the young woman injured by a transgender athlete in volleyball—they had nothing to say. But when it came time to hold up stupid little protest signs with slogans like “no kings live here,” they suddenly found their voices.
And let’s not forget Rep. Al Green, who had to be physically removed from the chamber after yelling and waving his cane at Trump. Nothing says “serious opposition” like an elderly Democrat throwing a tantrum on live TV.
