Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition You’ll Wish You Never Saw

Sports Illustrated has once again betrayed its loyal readers by featuring a transgender biological man on the cover of its latest swimsuit edition. Kim Petras, a German pop singer who underwent gender reassignment surgery at age 16, is one of the four cover models for the 2023 issue, along with Martha Stewart, Megan Fox, and Brooks Nader.

Petras, who won a Grammy Award for her collaboration with Sam Smith on “Unholy”, is hailed by the magazine as a “true change-maker who uses her platform to uplift and inspire the LGBTQ+ community”. But what about the millions of women who are not inspired by seeing a man in a bikini posing as a woman? What about the young girls who are confused and misled by this distorted representation of femininity? The only people who pretend to be inspired by this are the other people who suffer from the same mental illness, and we’re talking about an extremely small number of people. But companies parade these people before the public like a circus sideshow event.

Sports Illustrated claims that its swimsuit edition is about empowering women and celebrating diversity, but in reality, it is erasing real women from the public eye and promoting an agenda that denies biological reality and harms women’s rights. By putting a transgender biological man on the cover, Sports Illustrated is telling women that they are not good enough, that they have to compete with men for attention and recognition, and that their bodies are not beautiful unless they conform to a male fantasy.

This is not the first time that Sports Illustrated has succumbed to the pressure of the woke mob and sacrificed its journalistic integrity. Last year, the magazine featured its first transgender female model, Valentina Sampaio, a Brazilian-born biological male who identifies as a woman. The magazine also featured Yumi Nu, a Japanese-Dutch plus-size model who was criticized by Jordan Peterson.
