President Trump isn’t playing around when it comes to cleaning up Biden’s border disaster. On Thursday, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) took a major step in escalating the mass deportation campaign that Trump promised—and is already delivering—just days into his second term. The target? A staggering 1.5 million illegal immigrants who entered the U.S. under Biden’s disastrous “humanitarian” parole programs.
In the first 24 hours alone, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) reported the arrest of 538 illegal immigrants, focusing primarily on violent offenders. But now, thanks to a new directive signed by acting DHS Secretary Benjamine Huffman, immigration authorities have been given the green light to go after an even larger pool of illegal migrants who were granted parole under Biden’s lax policies.
And let’s be clear—this is long overdue. Communities across America, from Springfield, Ohio to Aurora, Colorado, have been plagued by criminal behavior from paroled migrants, especially from countries like Haiti and Venezuela. Local officials, fed-up residents, and even President Trump himself have sounded the alarm about gang members and violent criminals terrorizing neighborhoods. Biden’s so-called “lawful pathways” have proven to be anything but.
The internal DHS memo makes it clear: there are no more free passes. The agency is now authorized to review the parole status of migrants who arrived under Biden’s CHNV (Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, Venezuela) and other parole programs, and if they fail to meet legal standards, they’re out. Huffman’s memo removes previous limits on expedited removal, meaning illegal migrants who have been in the country for up to two years can now be deported quickly and efficiently.
Fox News reports that DHS officials are now being encouraged to terminate any ongoing removal proceedings or parole status for migrants who don’t qualify under the Trump administration’s tightened enforcement policies. This is a major shift from the Biden era’s open-border nonsense, where migrants were practically given VIP treatment through the CBP One app and other loopholes.
And just in case there was any confusion, Huffman’s memo reminds everyone that parole is a privilege—not a right. “Parole shall not be regarded as an admission of the alien,” it states, which means Biden’s mass parole abuses are finally coming to an end.
Trump’s America First immigration strategy is back in action, and the message is loud and clear: if you came here illegally under Biden’s broken system, it’s time to pack your bags.
