Daniel Penny Lands New Job After NYC Subway Ordeal Ends

Daniel Penny is back in action—and this time, he’s taking on Silicon Valley. The former Marine, who became a national name after defending himself in a subway incident that the left tried (and failed) to turn into a political witch hunt, has landed a job at Andreessen Horowitz, one of the most powerful venture capital firms in the world.

According to The Free Press, Penny will be joining the firm’s American Dynamism practice, a division focused on investing in companies that actually support U.S. interests—think defense, manufacturing, and public safety. In other words, exactly the kind of work that sends liberals into a full-blown meltdown.

David Ulevitch, a general partner at the firm, made it clear that Penny wasn’t just hired to make a political statement—he’s there because he brings real value to the team. “I believe, as I know many of you do, that Daniel acted with courage in a tough situation,” Ulevitch said, adding that Penny was acquitted of all charges and deserves to be judged as a whole person, not by one moment in his life. You know, the kind of logic the radical left conveniently ignores when they try to ruin someone’s life over a media-fueled narrative.

So, what will Penny actually be doing? Strengthening the firm’s relationships with the Department of Defense and the public safety sector. Given his background as a Marine, it makes perfect sense. It’s also a huge win for Andreessen Horowitz, which has been making some bold moves lately—especially when it comes to backing America-first companies instead of pouring billions into the usual Silicon Valley nonsense.

It’s also worth noting that Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz, the firm’s founders, are both Trump supporters. That alone is enough to send the left into a frenzy, but hiring Penny? That’s just adding fuel to the fire.

Penny, for his part, has kept a low profile since his acquittal. But he did show up at the Army vs. Navy football game with President Trump, proving that he’s still standing strong despite the left’s attempts to destroy him. He even still rides the subway—because, unlike the elites who attacked him, he’s an actual New Yorker who isn’t afraid to live his life.

At the end of the day, Daniel Penny won, and now he’s taking his talents to a firm that actually believes in American values. Not bad for a guy the left tried to cancel.
