ICE Leadership Overhaul Sweeps the Nation as Deportations Set to Surge

Well, well, well — looks like it’s finally happening. ICE is getting the serious shake-up it’s needed for years, and surprise, surprise… it took President Trump coming back to get it done.

According to Fox News’ Bill Melugin, up to half of the ICE field office directors across the country are being removed or reassigned in a sweeping leadership overhaul. That’s 12 out of 25 offices seeing a clean sweep. And the reason? Simple — the current leadership wasn’t getting the job done. Deportations weren’t where they needed to be, arrests were down, and the enforcement of federal law had been treated like a suggestion under the last administration.

Not anymore.

This isn’t just a reshuffle, it’s a full-blown strategic realignment. Border Patrol officials, including some of the toughest and most no-nonsense commanders out there, are taking the reins. Greg Bovino, who’s known for not mincing words and actually enforcing immigration law (imagine that), is stepping in to hand-pick replacements. That’s right, someone who knows what they’re doing is finally calling the shots.

Also spearheading this purge? Corey Lewandowski. You know, the guy who doesn’t play games and doesn’t care if your feelings are hurt — perfect for the job.

And get this — this isn’t just about putting new names on office doors. This is about delivering results. Already, according to DHS, over 2 million illegal aliens have left the country since Trump was sworn in earlier this year. Let that sink in. Over 527,000 deported directly by ICE, and 1.6 million more self-deported — probably because they know the party’s over and the free ride just ended.

This is how you lead. You identify the weak spots, cut them out, and replace them with people who have a spine. The ICE directors in cities like Los Angeles, Philadelphia, San Diego, Denver, and Seattle — all the usual Democrat-run disaster zones — are out. And it’s about time. These cities have been more interested in protecting criminals with “sanctuary” nonsense than protecting their own citizens.

Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin nailed it: “This is just the beginning.” Trump and Secretary Kristi Noem have blown the doors off the barn. And here’s the kicker — migrant traffic through Panama’s Darien Gap is down 99.99%. That means word is getting out: if you’re thinking about coming here illegally, think again.

Message received. America First is back.
