Trump Gives Minnesota Politicians ULTIMATE Ultimatum

President Trump made it clear Thursday morning that he is done tolerating lawlessness in Minneapolis, especially when it targets federal agents tasked with enforcing immigration law. After a night of violent chaos that left ICE vehicles vandalized, weapons stolen, and an agent forced to fire a defensive round, the president warned Minnesota politicians that the clock is ticking. If state and local leaders refuse to restore order, President Trump says he will invoke the Insurrection Act and end the madness himself.

The violence unfolded as ICE agents attempted to do their jobs in Minneapolis and were met by organized mobs that looked less like protesters and more like a coordinated street militia. According to reporting and video from independent journalist Nick Sortor, rioters managed to break open a weapons locker inside a federal vehicle and steal a rifle and ammunition before fleeing. That detail alone should have set off alarms across the political spectrum. Instead, silence and excuses poured out of Minnesota leadership.

President Trump responded bluntly on Truth Social. “If the corrupt politicians of Minnesota don’t obey the law and stop the professional agitators and insurrectionists from attacking the Patriots of I.C.E., who are only trying to do their job, I will institute the INSURRECTION ACT, which many Presidents have done before me, and quickly put an end to the travesty that is taking place in that once great State,” he wrote. He signed it simply, “Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DJT.”

This was not empty rhetoric. Just one day earlier, an ICE agent was violently assaulted by an illegal alien and multiple accomplices. According to a Department of Homeland Security press release, the suspect fled in a vehicle, crashed, ran on foot, and then attacked the agent. Two more individuals joined in, beating the officer with a snow shovel and broom handle. As DHS described it, “Fearing for his life and safety as he was being ambushed by three individuals, the officer fired a defensive shot to defend his life.” The suspect was struck in the leg, and all attackers were eventually taken into custody.

This attack happened while Minnesota’s political leadership, Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, continue signaling hostility toward ICE and federal law enforcement. During the same riot, multiple ICE vehicles were destroyed, vandalized, and stripped, all while local police reportedly refused to intervene.

DHS has since reported a staggering 1300 percent increase in assaults against officers and a 3200 percent spike in vehicular attacks, trends the agency links directly to radical rhetoric from sanctuary politicians. At some point, slogans stop being harmless and start turning into weapons. President Trump is signaling that point has arrived, and Minneapolis is about to find out what happens when federal authority finally says enough.
